PAY_CH_QSTVD_0050 - Assign Number of Children to Withholding Tax Scale

This activity is obsolete as of 2014 because the number of children is no longer required to be indicated separately in the XML file.

In this Customizing activity, you assign the number of children to the withholding tax scale. The report for creating withholding tax accounting then determines the number of children based on the withholding tax scale.

The number of children is evaluated only for the withholding tax scales that you assigned to the EMP-ACI scale codes B or C in the Customizing activity Assign Withholding Tax Scale to Scale Code for XML File. EMP-ACI always specifies the number of children as zero for rate codes A and D.
