In this Customizing activity you link the complement wage type to its corresponding subsidy wage type.

Whenever an employee has an absence of less than 10 days, this absence is split into two periods: one containing the days that the Health Insurance Institution is obliged to pay for (subsidy) and other period containing the days that it is not obliged to pay for (complement).

The settings you make in this activity are read during the payroll run at two different times, as follows:

  1. In the Subsidy and Complement calculation (CLSCA) function: The function reads the subsidy wage types (MT70, MT71, and MT72 in the standard system) and checks the number of days. For the absences of 10 days or less, it creates the complement wage types for the three unpaid days.
  2. In the BAdI for Subsidy and Complement Calculation (HRPAYCL_ABSENCES): The BAdI reads the complement wage types (MT80, MT81, and MT82 in the standard system) from the IT table. It processes each of these wage types, multiplying the number of days by the average income, thus calculating the complement amount.

Execute this activity and link the complement wage type (field SUMLG) to its corresponding subsidy wage type (field LGART) in table view V_T596J, subapplication SCWT (Subsidy and Complement WT assignment).
