To calculate social insurance deductions and contributions correctly, you must first transfer the data and results from calculations perfomed using the previous system before starting to use SAP Payroll.

You have transferred the HR master data. For more information, see Customizing activity Data transfer workbench: HR master data.

Enter the following wage types into the SAP system using Customizing activity Wage Types:

  • Contributions to Pension Fund Administrators (“Administradora de Fondo de Pensión”, AFP)
  • Pension Fund (MD01)

  • Disability and Survivorship Insurance (MD02)

  • Disability and Survivorship Insurance - Employer Contribution (/E08)

  • Commission(MD03)

  • Contributions to the Pension Standardization Institute (“Instituto de Normalización Previsional” — INP)
  • INP Mandatory Contribution (MD61)

  • INP Unemployment Fund (MD62)

  • Voluntary Pension Savings (“Ahorro Provisional Voluntario” — APV)
  • Voluntary Contribution (MD04)

  • Voluntary Savings Account (MD10)

  • Deductible APV (/T11)

  • Agreed Deposits (/E06)

  • Pension contributions due to Heavy Work
  • Heavy Work (/311)

  • Heavy Work Contribution (/E07)

  • Health Insurance
  • Mandatory Contribution (/301)

  • Additional Contribution (/302)

  • Additional Deductible Contribution (/303)

  • Health Plan Total(/T10)

  • Fonasa CCAF (/T13)

  • Fonasa INP (/T14)

  • Unemployment Insurance
  • Indefinite Unemployment Insurance (MD09)

  • Unemployment Insurance Indefinite - Employer Contribution (/E01)

  • Solidarity Fund Contribution (/E02)

  • Unemployment Insurance Fixed (/E03)

  • Mutual Insurance Associations
  • Mutual Contribution (/E04)

  • Additional Mutual Contribution (/E05)

  • Family Allowances
  • Family Allowance Average (/AV1)

  • Family Allowance Average Basis (/201)

  • Family Allowance Total(/T21)

  • Family Allowance - Disabled (/I11)

  • Family Allowance - Maternal(/I12)

  • Family Allowance - Simple (/I13)

All previously mentioned wage types make up the minimum information required to carry out the standard system calculations. If you have your own customer-specific wage types that you use for your own calculations and that could affect future calculations, you can also enter them into the SAP system.
