PAY_CL_GAR_001 - Create Subtypes for Garnishment (3235) Infotype

In this activity, you create subtypes for the Garnishment (CL)(3235) infotype.

You use this infotype to process garnishment orders of your employees, as follows:

• When the beneficiary is an institution (for example social insurance institutions and banks): use the INST subtype, delivered by SAP in the standard system.

• When the beneficiary is an employee dependent: you can use the other subtypes delivered by SAP in the standard system, or create new subtypes if needed.

The subtype you want to create for the Garnishment (CL)(3235) infotype already exists as a subtype of the Family Member/ Dependents (0021) infotype.

If it does not exist, before executing this activity you must create the subtype in Customizing for Personnel Administration under Personal Data -> Family -> Personal Data -> Define family types.
