PAY_CL_HRF_000 - HR Reporting Framework: Overview

To generate a report in the system, you have three options:

• Use the Data Acquisition tool (DAQ) to extract and post-process the data.

• Use the DAQ to extract the data and the HR Reporting Framework (HRF) to post-process it.

• Use the HRF to extract and post-process the data.

You use the subsequent activities to customize the HR Reporting Framework according to the needs of your company.

You have created your own forms as needed, in Customizing under Reuse Tools -> DAQ: Data Field Acquisition in Forms -> Define Forms.

You always need to perform this activity to create your own forms, whether you are using both DAQ and HRF or only one of them.

The subsequent customizing activities are divided in three sections :

• Control Tables: In these activities, you can:

• Display the settings for the forms delivered by SAP in the standard system.

• Create your own entries in customer namespace. This includes, for example, creating your own forms or creating an additionalsection for a standard form. The names of the objects you create must start with Z or Y.

• Customizing Tables: In these activities, you can override the settings created in the standard tables. You can, for example, replacea section in a standard form.

• Output: In these activities you make settings for the output forms.
