In this Customizing activity, you set the configuration option LTPRV (LATE PREVIRED). This option determines how the PREVIRED Interface (HCLCPRVD0) report handles adjustments made after the termination date for an employee whose employment was terminated in the current period.

You use this option to specify whether the functionality is active in the system. The possible values are as follows:

  • 0 - Inactive
  • 1 - Active

With the functionality active, when you run the PREVIRED Interface report and an employee is terminated, the system proceeds as follows:

  • Adjustments occurring after the end of a reporting period and up until the limit date are reported in the previous period
  • Adjustments occurring after the limit date are reported in the period in which they occurred

You can define a limit date for including adjustments in the PREVIRED report, for example, 5 days after the end of each period after an employee's termination. You define the limit date in Customizing activity Set Limit Days for Adjustments after Termination.

With the functionality not active, when you run the PREVIRED Interface report for an employee whose employment was terminated in the current period, all adjustments made after the termination date are considered in that same period. When you run the PREVIRED Interface report for subsequent periods, the report does not consider any data.

An employee is terminated in January 2015. You run the PREVIRED report for the period of 01.01.2015 to 31.01.2015, and the limit date is 05.02.2015 (5 days after the end). An adjustment on 01.02.2015 is reported in January. An adjustment on 06.02.2015 (after the limit date) is reported in February.
