PAY_CL_PENS_002 - Check Maximum Limit for Pension Contribution Basis

In this activity you check the maximum limit that the system applies to the pensionable income (wage type /102).

The system applies this limit to the pensionable income when calculating:

• Mandatory contributions to the private pension system (AFP)

• Mandatory contributions to the public pension system (INP)

This value is stored in the following payroll constants:

Contributions to the private pension system (AFP)

• MXAFM (Monthly limit)

• MXAFS (Semi-monthly limit)

• MXAFW (Weekly limit)

Contributions to the public pension system or "old" pension system (INP)

• MXAOM (Monthly limit)

• MXAOS (Semi-monthly limit)

• MXAOW (Weekly limit)

SAP provides the current value in accordance with the applicable law at any given moment. You must not modify the values of the constants.
