In this customizing activity you define which absence subtypes block social insurance deductions.

This means the system does NOT calculate social insurance deductions when the employee has a record in the Absences(2001) infotype showing these types of absence.

The calculation of social insurance deductions takes place in the Pension Contributions Calculation (P3213) function.

You edit the CLPPA feature according to the needs of your company and determine the following:

  • For a specific subtype of the Absences(2001) infotype
  • Which subtypes of the Pension Plan (3213) infotype are not calculated.

The decision tree of feature CLPPA has been defined as follows:

Therefore, when an employee has an absence recorded in infotype 2001, subtype 200, the system does NOT deduct the following contributions from his or her salary:

  • Infotype 3213, subtype 0003
  • Infotype 3213, subtype 0007
