PAY_CL_PP_PP08 - Define Mutually Excluding Pension Subtypes

In this customizing activity you determine mutually excluding pension subtypes.

This means the system does NOT calculate the pension contributions for these subtypes of the Pension Plan(3213) infotype in the same period.

If you happen to create records for two mutually excluding subtypes, when you execute the payroll run the system interrupts the calculation and displays an error message.

The calculation of social insurance deductions takes place in the Pension Contributions Calculation(P3213) function.

You edit the CLPPI feature according to the needs of your company.

• You create a record in the employee's infotype 3213, subtype 0001. The validity period is 01.01.2010 to 31.12.9999.

• You define the decision tree of feature CLPPI as follows:

Therefore, during the validity period of 01.01.2010 to 31.12.9999, the system proceeds as follows:

• Calculates pension plan contributions recorded in sutype 0001.

• Does NOT calculate any pension plan contributions recorded in subtypes 0003 and 0007. If you happen to create records in subtypes 0003 or 0007, when you execute the payroll run the system interrupts the calculation and displays an error message.
