PAY_CL_TER_007 - Check Maximum Basis for Severance Pay (Years of Service)

In this Customizing activity you check the maximum amount of severance pay due to an employee per year of service. This maximum amount is established by law.

If the termination is a unilateral decision by the employer, severance pay for years of service is mandatory.

The system reads this constant in the Termination: Get all severances( P0713) function, more specifically in function module HR_CL_TERM_IAS, to calculate the Severance Pay for Years of Service (/IF1) wage type.

The limit is defined by law and SAP delivers the current value in constant MAXAS in table view V_T511P. You must not change this value.
