In this Customizing activity you check the legal limit of severance pay in substitution of notice.

According to Chilean legislation, when the contract is terminated unilaterally by the employer, he or she must notify the employee at least 30 days prior to the termination.

If this notice is not given, the employer must pay the employee severance pay in substitution of notice. The amount corresponds to one month's salary, and the government defines a legal limit.

The system performs this calculation by means of the Termination: Get all severances (P0713) function.

The limit is defined by law and SAP delivers the current value in constant TPDIM. You must not change this value.
