PAY_CO_NECO_07 - Define and assign number range intervals for consecutive field

Using this Customizing activity you can:
- Define number range intervals for the consecutive field by company code
- Assign number range intervals to a company code
Run this activity and double click on the name of the step that you wish to run:
1. Define number range intervals for the consecutive field by company code
With transaction SNUM, you define the number range intervals that the system must use to fill in the Consecutive field in the IndividualPayroll and in the AdjustmentIndividualPayroll of the Electronic Payroll.
You must define the interval at company code level.
Run this activity, and with transaction SNUM, define the possible number range intervals for Number range objectHR_CO_NE_X.
- In field Number range object, enter value HR_CO_NE_X.
- Click the Interval Update(F7) button or go to menu Go to > Interval Update (F7).
- Enter the company code for which you want to define the intervals.
- Create new entries for the intervals that you desire.
Important: You must set up at least one interval for each company code.
2. Assign number range intervals to a company code
With table view V_T77PAYCO_NECOG, you assign to the company codes the number range intervals that you have created in transaction SNUM for Number range object HR_CO_NE_X.
Run this activity and using table view V_T77PAYCO_NECOG, assign the number range interval to the corresponding company code customizing.
- Double-click on the entry in table view V_T77PAYCO_NECOG that you want to update.
- In field Number range number (T77PAYCO_NECOG-CONSEC_RANGE_ID) of table view V_T77PAYCO_NECOG, enter the No. range number (NRIV_IV-NRRANGENR) that you have created in transaction SNUMfor the interval.
- As part of the organization structure of you company, you generate the Electronic payroll for the company codes listed below:
- Company code ZCO1
- Company code ZCO2, Grouper 21
- Company code ZCO2, Grouper 22
- As a consequence, you create number range intervals for each company code in transaction SNUM, as shown below:
- Company code ZCO1:
