In this activity, you must update the configuration settings required for calculating the withholding tax at source concept, according to legal provisions.

Run this activity and update the configuration settings below in view V_T5F99K2.

If you run this activity and no record for the desired configuration setting exists in view V_T5F99K2, you must create the record and enter the value corresponding to the desired behavior in field Value.

  • L1819: Defines if Act 1819 of 2016 is applied
  • Value 0: Act 1819 is not applied

  • Value 1: Act 1819 is applied

  • DISAP: Defines the method to find the limit that must be used for the distribution of voluntary contributions
  • Value 0: Limit on basis

  • Value 1: Limit on exempt

  • EXEAV: Defines if the exempt limit of voluntary contributions is calculated on the basis of 0 or 1.
  • Value 0: The limit is calculated on Basis 1 (total amount of income minus food voucher, health and pension contributions)

  • Value 1: The limit is calculated on Basis 0 (total amount of income minus food voucher)

  • L2250: Defines if the Voluntary Contributions for Statutory Pension (AVPO) will be processed neither as non-income earnings nor as irregular earning (INCRNGO)
  • Value 0: Not applied

  • Value 1: Applies

  • L8194: Defines if the maximum limit of deductions of 40% is applied when the retirement bonus is paid
  • Value 0: Not applied

  • Value 1: Applies

  • L8195: Defines if the maximum limit of deductions of 40% in the six-monthly procedure
  • Value 0: Not applied

  • Value 1: Applies

  • TAXDS: Defines is the health contributions are deducted from the current period or from the previous year average
  • Value 0: Health contributions are deducted from the current period

  • Value 1: Health contribution average is deducted from the previous year

Additional information on value 1 of option TAXDS
- For new employees you must keep the health deduction in infotype 0830 so that the system can generate the average of the previous year.
- For employees who work more than a year in the company, the averages are calculated automatically and there is no need to maintain the infotype 0830.
- In case the employee has worked more than one year in the company, but maintains the average entered in infotype 0830, this will be considered instead of the automatic process.
  • TBGPS: Defines if the system uses wage type /T50 as Taxable Base to calculate the half-year procedure (HCORETE0)
  • Value 0: Does not use

  • Value 1: Uses

  • TMADE: Defines how deductions are applied to the maximum limit.
  • Value 0 - Annual cumulated limit: If you select this value, the system compares the deductions cumulated during the year to the value of constant CORT6 (Maximum annual deductible limit).

This is the behavior in the standard system.
  • Value 1 - Monthly limit: If you select this value, the system compares the deductions cumulated during the month to the value of constant CORT6 divided by 12.
