To configure the payroll office for the contribution statement, in Customizing, choose Payroll: Germany -> Personnel Area Reporting and use the Customizing activity Define Reporting Personnel Area to define your reporting personnel area/personnel subarea. Use the subapplication SVBL (Contribution Statement: Determination of Payroll Office) for the settings.

Note that no personnel areas with legal area east and west can be grouped.

Since the new contribution statement processes miners' and mine-employees' insurance and non miners' and mine employees' insurance, they need to be represented separately by different payroll offices.

If you choose to group by feature, you can structure the decision tree for the provided sample feature DSVBL (Summary for Payroll Office for Contribution Statement) to suit your requirements. For the attributes of the feature, note the decision options provided in the structure PMEB7 (structure for the contribution statement).
