Data is exchanged with the health insurance funds and pension insurance funds via HTTPS.

The encrypted reporting data is added to an XML and transferred to the ITSG (SHI) communication server or the pension insurance fund's communication server (DSRV).

The following standard signuature and encryption are permitted:

  • Signature: SHA256 or SHA1 (valid until December 31, 2016)
  • Encryption: AES256
  • PKCS#7 with SAPCryptolib or CommonCryptoLib
