In test clients, you can simulate a different system date in order to test the key date regulation in the SI notification procedure and create the notifications in new versions.

The reports for creating notifications check in test clients whether user parameter HRDESV_OVWRT_SYDAT ("Simulated System Date for SI Notification Procedure") is available in the user profile and, if necessary, use this date to create the notifications.

You can simulate a different system date in test clients as follows:

1. In the menu bar, choose System -> User Profile -> Own Data.
2. Choose the Parameters tab page.
3. Select a new row and enter parameter HRDESV_OVWRT_SYDAT ("Simulated System Date for SI Notification Procedure") in the Set/Get Parameter ID column.
4. Enter the date for this parameter in the Parameter Value column that you want the alternative system date to simulate for the SI notification procedure (for example, 20170101).
5. Save your entries.
