PAY_DE_BEA_090 - Maintain Attribute for Start/End of Employment Relationship
Vendor Master (General Section) RFUMSV00 - Advance Return for Tax on Sales/PurchasesThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity you can process both features ENTRY (rule to determine entry date) and LEAVE (rule to determine leaving date) in relation to the three following purposes:
Feature | Use | Report class |
---|---|---|
ENTRY | Start of service (DBKE-BETZU or DBKU-BETZU) for statements of employment/statements of employment EU | CBA2 (report class for length of service) |
ENTRY | Start of employment relationship (DSAB-AVBEG) for statements of employment/statements of employment EU | CBAV (report class for employment relationship start and end) |
LEAVE | End of employment relationship (DBKE-BVEND) for statements of secondary income | CBAV (report class for employment relationship start and end) |
In report BEA Notification Creator
(RPCBAVD0_OUT), the entry date is used to calculate the length of service (field BETZU
in module Dismissal/Termination (DBKE or DBKU)) during the creation of statements of employment/statements of employment EU.
If an employee’s length of service begins before the actual start of the employment relationship
(see example), you can use feature ENTRY (report class CBA2)
to use a different entry date to calculate the length of service. Report class CBA2
controls which events are relevant for the start of the service. Report class CBAV controls which events are relevant for the start of the employment relationship
(AVBEG).
- Feature ENTRY (CBA2 (report class for length of service))
-
Using feature ENTRY (rule to determine entry date), if necessary, you can
determine the start of the service (for example, the start of service lies before the start of the employment relationship). The start of service is determined using function module
HR_ENTRY_DATE.
During the determination, this accesses feature ENTRY. If you would like
to determine the start of service specifically for BEA, use report class CBA2 (report class for length of service) in the decision structure of the feature.
- Feature ENTRY (CBAV (report class for employment relationship start and end))
-
Using feature ENTRY (rule to determine entry date), you can determine the start of the employment relationship. The start of the employment relationship is determined using function module
HR_ENTRY_DATE. During the determination, this
accesses feature ENTRY. If you would like to determine the start of the
employment relationship specifically for BEA, use report class CBAV (report class for employment relationship start and end) in the decision structure of the feature.
- Feature LEAVE (CBAV (report class for employment relationship start and end))
- Using feature LEAVE (rule to determine leaving date), you can determine the end of the employment relationship. You use the function module HR_LEAVING_DATE to determine the end of the work relationship. This accesses the LEAVE feature for the determination. If you would like to determine the end of the employment relationship specifically for BEA, use report class CBAV (report class for employment relationship start and end) in the decision structure of the feature.
An employee has been working at company B since January 1, 2015. Company A buys company B. The employee starts his employment relationship with company A on January 1, 2018. It has been contractually agreed that the length of service of the employee will be transferred from company B to company A. This means that the start of the employment relationship and the start of service are different, which is of importance when creating the statements of employment.
The following applies for the employee:
- Start of employment relationship: January 1, 2018
- Start of service: January 1, 2015
