You use this Customizing activity to bring forward the validity period for the Absence Quotas infotype (2006).

If, after December 31, 2012, you continue to use infotype 0005 for construction leave, you need to modify the validity period for the symbolic name "DCIU2006" in the view T596F. See SAP Note 1569672.

Requirements

  1. Start the Customizing activity and choose Position….
  2. In the dialog box, enter the construction constant U2006 and confirm your entry.
  3. Select a start date for the activation of the construction constant, but only a date at the start of a year is useful here.
  4. For the construction constant U2006, set the validity indicator of the constant by selecting the Valid checkbox.
  5. Choose Save.
