Statements issued by the personnel department for an employee need to be stored securely. An optical archive is used as a storage tool.

In this section, you find which Customizing settings you need to make, in order to make your optical archive accessible for statements.

You have set up an optical archive.

For statements, object type CERTIFPAYD and document type HROBWFORM are defined.

You make the following Customizing settings in the IMG under

Basis -> Basis Services -> SAP ArchiveLink -> Basic Settings -> Edit Links. For more information, see the documentation there.

• Assign your archive system statements.

If you do not use an optical archive and only want to store small amounts of data, you can also use the SAP CONTENT SERVER to do this.
