PAY_DE_EHVS_000 - Introduction

The earnings structure survey must be carried out every four years (for example, 2018, 2022). The special survey on earnings is carried out on request.

These censuses only need to be carried out by a certain proportion of employers (sample). These employers are written to directly.

Only make the Customizing settings if you have been selected as an employer for the earnings structure survey or for the special survey on earnings. The settings apply for both statistics.

• Note the following additional requirements in the following Customizing activities as of survey year 2010:

• The earnings regulations have unique numbers.
  If you need to edit the earnings regulation, enter a unique number in Customizing activity Enter Additional Data for Reporting Company that you can find here:

www.destatis.de\tarifdatenbank

• You must also enter the minimum wage industry sector for each reporting personnel area.
  In Customizing activity Enter Additional Data for Reporting Company, update field Minimum Wage Industry Sector.

• You must report the remuneration conversion per employee.
  In view cluster VC_T596A (Validity and cumulation wage types for stat. subapplications), check if the standard entries for subapplication EHVS (earnings structure survey) for cumulation wage type EGUJ(Remuneration Conversions Annually) correspond to your business requirements. If this is not the case, make the necessary changes in Customizing activity Maintain Cumulation Wage Types.
