Use this Customizing activity to define the cumulation wage types for tax-exempt payments that have no separate indicator in the ELENA data record.

You have used the Maintain Taxable and Tax-Exempt Payments Acc. to ELENA Indicator Customizing activity to maintain the cumulation wage types for tax-exempt payments that are preset in the standard SAP system and have a fixed indicator in the ELENA data record. In addition, the ax-exempt payments (DBSB) data module in the ELENA data record contains the indicator 99 (Other), which is to be used to report all tax-exempt payments that have no separate indicator in the data record.

Subapplication ELENA: Tax-Exempt Payments (ELSB) is used to define customer-defined cumulation wage types. Use the Assign Wage Types to Cumulation Wage Types (Subapplication ELSB) Customizing activity to assign the corresponding wage types to each cumulation wage type you defined here.

The amount and the name of the cumulation wage type are reported in the ELENA notification as a tax-exempt payment with the indicator 99. Note that only the first 30 characters of the cumulation wage type name can be reported in the data module of the ELENA notification. The name “Other” is too unspecific for a cumulation wage type and can lead to queries from the recipient entities, for example, if the ELENA notifications are used to draw up a statement of employment.

Define a separate cumulation wage type for each tax-exempt payment that has no separate indicator in the taxable other payments (DBSE) data module and is to be reported in the ELENA process.
