PAY_DE_ELENA_260 - BAdI: Determination of Different Place of Employment

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to determine the different place of employment of an employee if the place of employment differs from the location of the employer in the Employer Details data module (DBAG). This information has to be reported in the ELENA procedure in the data module Different Place of Employment (DBAB).

In the standard system, the Electronic Data Exchange infotype (0700), subtype DBAB is read. If there is no entry for the employee here, the location of the personnel subarea is read. If no location is stored for the personnel subarea, the location of the personnel area is determined as the place of employment and then compared to the location of the employer. If these differ, a DBAB is created.

In particular when an employee is sent abroad, the location of the personnel area or subarea is not the location to which the employee was sent. Therefore, to ensure the data is reported, the data has to be entered manually in the system using either the Electronic Data Exchange infotype (0700) subtype DBAB or using a user-defined BAdI implementation.

The method GET_DBAB has the personnel number (IV_PERNR) and the notification period (IV_MZBEG and IV_MZEND) as input parameters. The fields of the DBAB have to be returned to the structure ES_DBAB as output parameters.

In the standard system, the Electronic Data Exchange infotype (0700) subtype DBAB is read at the end of the notification period and the license plate country code is determined for the country that was entered in infotype 0700.

Use the default implementation or create and activate a user-defined implementation.
