PAY_DE_ELENA_290 - BAdI: Generation of Termination Notifications

Use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to control the creation of termination notifications.

In the Customizing of the standard SAP system, termination notifications are only generated if a termination measure was carried out for the termination of the employee for which the feature DELEN was correspondingly marked. Even in the case of a fixed-term employment relationship, a termination notification must be reported three months before the end of the term at the latest. If there is no termination measure for the fixed-term employment relationship, it is also the case that no termination notification will be generated.

In order to create termination notifications even without the presence of a termination measure, the following options exist:

• In the Customizing activity, activate the implementation: HRPAYDE_EL_DBKE.
  This implementation has the effect that termination notifications are always created regardless of whether a termination measure was entered for an employee. It is sufficient if the corresponding data in the infotype Electronic Data Exchange (0700) have been maintained.
  Note that the cancellation of a termination notification must be triggered by the deletion of the data in infotype 700 if the termination is rescinded.

• In the Customizing activity, activate the implementation: HRPAYDE_EL_DBKE_BEFRISTET.
  This implementation has the effect that termination notifications for fixed-term employment relationships are created regardless of whether a termination measure was entered for an employee. It is sufficient if the corresponding data in the infotype Electronic Data Exchange (0700) have been maintained. For a permanent employment relationship, a termination measure must be created before a termination notification is generated.
  Note that the cancellation of a termination notification for permanent employment relationships must be triggered by the deletion of the data in infotype 700 if the termination is rescinded.

• Implement BAdI HRPAYDE_EL_DBKE on a customer-specific basis.

Note that only exactly one BAdi implementation can be active at a given time. A program termination otherwise occurs.

The method CREATE_DBKE expects as an outbound parameter a table of termination notifications (objects of class CL_HRPAYDE_EL_NOTIF_DBKE), which must be created for a period of employment (IV_ZEITRAUM_BEGINN, IV_ZEITRAUM_ENDE).

In the Customizing of the standard SAP system, termination notifications are only generated if a termination measure was carried out for the termination of the employee for which the feature DELEN was correspondingly marked.

Use the standard implementation, activate one of the two supplied implementations or create a separate implementation and activate it.
