PAY_DE_ETG_020 - BAdI: Preprocessing for Information Comparison Remuneration

In the standard SAP system, cumulation wage types are stored in subapplication ETRG to determine which remuneration components should be included in the comparison remuneration. This means that the cumulation wage types are in the SAP namespace and cannot be enhanced without modification.

Using this BAdI, you can enter a customer-specific subapplication in method IF_HRPAYDE_ETG_VERGL_VOR~GET_APPL to determine the cumulation wage types.

A change to the subapplication to set up the cumulation wage types also affects the value help of the relevant fields on the selection screen of the evaluation report.

First of all, the Customizing for the cumulation wage types should be done:

• Setting up the subapplication using table T596A, Create Subapplication for German Pay Transparency Act)

• Setting up the required cumulation wage types using table T596G (Customizing activity: Set Up Cumulation Wage Types for Comparison Remuneration)

• Assigning wage types to cumulation wage types using table T596J (Customizing activity: Assign Wage Types to Cumulation Wage Types)

In the standard SAP system, subapplication ETRG is assigned using fallback class CL_HRPAYDE_FB_AUSKUNFT_VOR.

Generate your own implementation, ideally as a copy of example class CL_HRPAYDE_FB_AUSKUNFT_VOR. Then in the source text of method IF_HRPAYDE_ETG_VERGL_VOR~GET_APPL, change the literal in the assignment of 'ETRG' to your own subapplication. Activate the new objects.
