In this step, you assign your fictitious run control the fictitious runs that it should execute.
You also determine the sequence in which the fictitious runs are executed in one fictitious run control.

Fictitious run control ATZG (Statutory Semiretirement) comprises fictitious run ATZA (Pay Scale Notional Full-Time Gross Amount), ATZB (Statutory Fictitious Full-Time Gross Amount), ATZC (Fictitious Part-Time Net Amount), and ATZG (Statutory Supplements).

Fictitious run ATZG is dependent on the results of fictitious runs ATZB and ATZC and must therefore be executed last.
You ensure this by specifying the appropriate sequence of fictitious runs in the Sequence Number field.

You have set up your fictitious runs and fictitious run controls.

For semiretirement, fictitious run control ATZG is provided as a template in the standard system. Fictitious runs ATZA, ATZB, ATZC, and ATZG are assigned to this control.

Read the documentation on the fictitious runs delivered as templates:

  • ATZA (Pay Scale Notional Full-Time Gross Amount)
  • ATZB (Statutory Fictitious Full-Time Gross Amount)
  • ATZC (Fictitious Part-Time Net Amount)
  • ATZG (Statutory Supplements)

If you have to calculate amounts for semiretirement using notional calculations, you would generally need all four fictitious runs we provide or customer-specific equivalents. We therefore recommend that you include these four fictitious runs in all fictitious run controls.
You can only exclude one of these fictitious runs in one of the following cases:

  • You predefine the pay scale notional full-time gross amount using a wage type
The model wage type MH40 (SR pay scale gross amt) is available for this. If you specify the pay scale notional full-time gross amount using this wage type, you do not require fictitious run ATZA, which calculates the pay scale notional full-time gross amount.
  • You predefine the statutory fictitious full-time gross amount using a wage type
The model wage type MH41 (SR stat. fictitious gross amt) is available for this. If you specify the statutory fictitious full-time gross amount using this wage type, you do not require fictitious run ATZB, which calculates the statutory fictitious full-time gross amount.
  • The pay scale and statutory fictitious full-time gross amounts are identical
In this case, fictitious runs ATZA and ATZB would provide the same result so you would only need fictitious run ATZA and can exclude ATZB. Excluding fictitious run ATZB and only using ATZA has the following effects on payroll:
  • The payroll driver recognizes that there is a pay scale notional full-time gross amount resulting from fictitious run ATZA, but the statutory fictitious full-time gross amount is missing (no fictitious run ATZB, no wage type MH41).

  • The payroll driver uses the values for the pay scale notional full-time gross amount for the statutory fictitious full-time gross amount as well.
    CAUTION:
In the case described here, fictitious run ATZA can replace fictitious run ATZB, but not vice versa.

  • You waive the reimbursement of supplementary amounts from the employment office
In this case you do not require fictitious run ATZG (statutory supplements).
  1. Assign each fictitious run control the fictitious runs that it should execute.
You can assign the same fictitious run to several fictitious run controls.
  2. In the Sequence Number field, specify the sequence in which the fictitious runs should be executed.

You must maintain the Sequence Number field if a fictitious run depends on the results from another fictitious run. The fictitious run that provides the needed results must have a smaller sequence number than the fictitious run that will then use those results.
