In this Customizing activity, you can override the logical form name with your own form name, and specify one or several system form names as variants for a logical form. The system form name is the name that is stored in the workbench repository.

The form variant is relevant for the print program. If there are any special requirements, the form variant can be specified by using an optional parameter on the selection screen of the print program, for example. The framework program uses this to derive the relevant output type and the system form name.

Example

For the employment tax calculation, you want to use a separate PDF form with the technical name Z01_HR_DE_LST.

  1. Enter HCM localization 01.
  2. Enter the following values in the Customizing view:
  • Logical form name: HR_DE_LST

  • Print form type: PDF

  • Valid from/to: 1/1/2017 - 12/31/9999

  • System form name: Z01_HR_DE_LST
