A hourly-rate is used to valuate overtime for part-time employees in the BAT collective agreement. Different salary elements, which are included in the basic pay, are included in the valuation basis.
The cumulated amounts are then divided by the number of hours in the month and stored as wage type /0O5.

In this step, you code the wage types that are to be taken into account when the valuation basis is formed.
The processing class 66 has been enhanced by three specifications to define the wage type.

Decide whether your customer wage types should be included in the valuation base for overtime, and, if yes, in what form they should be included.
The following variants are possible:

'A': Determine amount from pay scale table (T510)

You use this specification to code the wage types that are relevant for the calculation of overtime and that are determined using the TARIF module (wage type table T511) (for example, for basic remuneration, general bonus).

In Payroll, the unreduced amount is calculated using the pay scale table and then cumulated in the valuation basis.

'B': Project reduced amount to 100%

You use this specification to code wage types for which the unreduced amount cannot be calculated within payroll accounting, for example, wage types that cannot be valuated with the TARIF or ORTSZ modules.

In Payroll, the reduced amount is projected to 100% and taken into account in the valuation of overtime.

'C': Take unreduced amount into consideration

Wage types that are coded with this specification are cumulated unchanged in the valuation basis.

Wage type 1715 - Programmer bonus should be taken into account in the valuation of overtime hours. The wage type is valuated indirectly using the pay scale table.

When you set the specification A in processing class 66, the payroll system uses the pay scale table (T510) to calculate the valid monthly amount for the full-time salaried employee, provided that the wage type is also included in the basic pay for the employee. The monthly amount is then cumulated in the valuation basis.

In the standard system, in additiona to basic remuneration and general bonuses, the wage types formed in the payroll function DOLGU are also taken into account in the formation of the calculation bases.

Wage type O236 (Overtime month of origin) and O237 (Overtime payment month) can be used as model wage types for the payment of overtime.

To code the wage types to be taken into account in the formation of the valuation bases, proceed as follows:

  1. Enter Germany.
  2. Flag the wage type to be included in the valuation basis.
  3. Choose Detail.
  4. For processing class 66, specify how the wage type should be taken into account. Enter specification A, B, or C.
  5. Choose Save.
