PAY_ES_FDI01 - FDI message: Overview

In the FDI message the information on the notifications of entries, leaves and temporary disability confirmation are sent to the Social Insurance, as well as the company certificates necessary to manage the benefits for childbirth for the biological mother and for the other parent, for companies affiliated to the RED System.

Report FDI message (RPCFDIE0) and infotype FDI message data (0768) are used combined to generate the FDI message. Infotype 0768 stores data for the generation of the message and the report processes said data. The go-live execution of the report, as well, updates the records of infotype 0768 and feeds the movement log for the employee.

This chapter offers an overview of the Customizing activities relevant for the generation of the FDI message.

As well as the Customizing activities included in this section, carry out the following activities:

• Define working day type for daily regulatory base

• BAdI: Modification of Social Insurance data for payroll
