PAY_ES_SH01 - Status Handler: Overview

This Customizing activity provides a general view of the different elements that make up the feature.

An interaction of the system with an employee in a specific application is made through an event. Each event corresponds to a status. This is what this feature allows you to manage. For example, event Generated ordinary payment is generated in report SLD: bases file (PC00_M04_CRETA_BASES) and corresponds to the Generated ordinary settlement status. In this case, the application is SLD (Direct Payment System).

SAP provides standard statuses by application in view Status handler (V_T77PADES_SHST). You can also create your own statuses. The standard statuses are linked to standard events in view cluster Specify groups and values of HR attribute (VC_T799BATTRIB03C), HR attribute Event key (CL_SH_EVENT).

Infotype Status handler (3393) shows the status of an employee in a given period and present the history of all these system interactions with the employee in one specific application. The infotype also allows creating status manually.

Table Messages by status (T77PADES_SHMS) stores all the messages related to an entry infotype 3393.

Report Status handler (PC00_M04_SH) makes it easier to handle the employee status, allowing you to generate the lists of status and execute the mass update of status for several employees.
