In this IMG activity, you establish the calculation basis used to determine the average overtime worked by an employee. This average is used for calculating the contribution basis for Industrial accident/Industrial disease (IAID) quotas, in the event of temporary incapacity (TI).

When calculating average extra hours, you have the following options:

• Days worked minus TI days: the average is calculated by dividing the number of extra hours from the previous year by the days worked minus the TI days.

• Days worked: as above but without subtracting the TI days.

• Divide by 360 (365): divide the number of extra hours by 360 for monthly-paid workers, and by 365 for employees paid per day.

The standard SAP system offers the first option, worked days minus TI days, by default.

SAP recommends you do not change the standard setting.

Check that the standard SAP value meets your needs. If not, enter the settings that best suit your company.
