PAY_IN_EPF_300 - Assign Contribution Categories for PF Groupings

In this activity, you assign the contribution categories for personnel area and subarea groupings for Provident Fund (PF). Contribution categories are defined by the Government based on the nature of recognition. For example, an establishment is a notified establishment as per the Provident Fund Act in the year 1999, the employers contribution rate will be 10 percent as opposed to 12 percent for non-notified establishments.

1. Enter the personnel area and subarea grouping for Provident fund in the PS grp. PF field.
2. Enter the contribution type in the Cont. type field.
3. Enter the start and end dates for the period.
4. Save your entries.
