In this activity, you maintain the LMNL1 and LMNL2 constants.

LMNL1 constant is used to store the maximum number of loans allowed at a time for an employee. When you populate the Loans Infotype (0045) record for an employee, the system will conduct a check to see that the total number of loans allowed at a time does not exceed the number entered for the constant LMNL1.

LMNL2 constant is used to store the maximum number of loans that an employee can avail in the entire period of his employment in your company. When you populate the Loans Infotype (0045) record for an employee, the system will conduct a check to see that the total number of loans of any type availed in the entire period of service does not exceed the number entered for the constant LMNL2.

  1. Enter the Start Date.
  2. Enter the End Date.
  3. Enter the Value.
  4. Save the entries.

You can have different entries for different periods.
