PAY_KSA_OH_005 - Specify Amount of Additional Allowances

In this Customizing activity, you specify how the system calculates the amounts of additional allowances and in which wage types it stores the calculated amounts. The Calculate Compensation for Occupational Hazard (KSA) (SAOH) payroll function determines the exact allowance amounts according to the settings in this Customizing table.

You have defined additional allowances in Customizing for Payroll: Saudi Arabia under Occupational Hazard -> Define Additional Allowance Groups.

For each allowance, you can specify a wage type to store the allowance amount and the method by which the system calculates the amount. You can assign either of the following calculation methods:

• Percentage of compensation amount
  If you select this option, you must specify a percentage rate in the Allowance Percentage field. The SAOH function calculates the allowance with the formula: allowance amount = compensation amount x percentage rate.

• Manual input
  If you select this option, the SAOH function uses the allowance amount that you enter in the Compensation tab of the Occupational Hazard SA (3312) infotype.

• Fixed amount
  If you select this option, you must specify an amount in the Fixed Amount field. The SAOH function uses the specified amount as the entitled allowance.
