In this customizing activity, for Wage Protection System (WPS) purposes, you specify the wage types that are used for an employee's basic pay and housing allowance.

You open the basic pay and housing allowance wage types and ensure that they include evaluation class 12. You must also specify the evaluation class specification as either:

• 01 Basic Wage Type for basic pay

• 02 HRA Wage Type for housing allowance
