In this Customizing activity, you configure Sick Leave Evaluation based on Work-Schedule Rule (KWSLV) feature to specify whether calendar days or the employee's work-schedule rule should be considered in the valuation segment for payment of sick leave.

Please ensure that you have maintained the Determine Rule Group for Refinement of Absences (COVER) feature for the relevant absence in Customizing for Payroll: Kuwait under Absences -> Valuation of Absences -> Refinement of Absences -> Create Rule Group for Absence Refinement.

The feature can return one of the following values:

• X - Employee's work-schedule rule is considered for calculation of sick leave payment

• SPACE - Calendar days are considered for calculation of sick leave payment

TXBHW - Original Tax Base Amount in Local Currency   General Material Data
