PAY_KW_BE_EL005 - Define Common Eligibility Checking Rules

In this Customizing activity, you define the general eligibility checking rules in your company.
You have defined the following eligibility criteria:
- Pay scale criteria
- Contract criteria
- Dependents criteria
- Marital status criteria
You define them in Customizing for Payroll Kuwait, under Benefits -> Eligibility Check.
One general checking rule is composed by the following criteria:
Work-Related Criteria
You restrict the eligibility from an employee's work-related information, including:
- Service period
- Pay scale
- Contract type
For example, you can define an employee with permanent contract must have worked over 5 years before he or she is eligible for a certain benefits.
Personal Criteria
You restrict the eligibility from an employee's personal information perspective. The following criteria can be used:
- Age
- Gender
- Nationality
- Marital status
- Employee's dependents
For example, you can define only the single employees with Oman nationality are eligible for a certain benefit when he or she reaches 20 years old.
Note:- If these criteria cannot meet your requirements, you can set up additional eligibility criteria using the BAdI: Enhancement on Common Eligibility Criteria, which is in Customizing for Payroll Kuwait, under Benefits -> Eligibility Check.
