PAY_KW_SI_KWLOC - Specify Method for PIFSS Base Calculation

In this Customizing activity, you configure the Kuwait Localization Functionality (KWLOC) feature to do either of the following:

• Enable a specific Kuwait localization functionality and the desired area within it.

• Define the calculation method for a specific functionality delivered as part of Kuwait Payroll localization.

The feature returns one of the following values:

• If the feature returns ‘X’:

For the social insurance fund type maintained for the employee's nationality in Maintain Contribution Percentages for GCC Employees (V_T7KW01N) view, the system determines the corresponding wage types and their contribution percentages maintained in Assign Wage Types to Fund Types for Base Calculation (V_T7KW05) view. It then uses this information to calculate the social insurance base.

Note: If a fund type exists in the customer name space for a particular country then it is given preference over the fund types delivered by SAP.

• If the feature returns :

The system determines all the wage types marked for processing class 65 (Cumulate PIFSS Wage Types) specification 1 (Cumulate to PIFSS Contribution Base). Wage types marked for PC65 specification 1 are applicable for all the fund types. Theses wage types are considered in full, that is, 100% contribution for base calculation.

Ensure that you have maintained 'PIFSS' and 'BASE' in the KWLFN and AOFUN fields of KWLOC feature respectively to be able to specify the method for calculating the social insurance base.
