You use this BAdI to return whether a dependent is sponsored by the employee or not.

This BAdI is required to be implemented if you plan to use sponsorship as a condition for dependent entitlement, as configured in the Define Ticket Benefit Groups, Defaults and Conditions Customizing activity under the Define Conditions for Dependent Entitlement node, field Sponsored.
