In order to ensure that Profit Sharing is calculated correctly, you have to transfer the results of calculations carried out using the previous system, before you start using the SAP payroll.

Before you perform this step, you have to transfer the HR master data. To do this, see the detailed instructions in the Implementation Guide, section Personnel Management -> Personnel Management -> Tools -> Workbench Data transfer: HR data.

You have to enter the following cumulated values for the previous year into the SAP system:

  • ,,Wage type /31E: Basic days for profit sharing.
  • ,,Wage type /117: Basic payments for profit sharing.
