SAP E-Book

To calculate the profit sharing, the standard SAP R/3 system takes into account all absences except for those that are due to maternity or occupational risk. The wage basis is formed by cumulating the wage relevant for profit sharing in the Cumulated Wage wage type (/117).

If you want to take other absences into account or use a different wage basis to calculate profit sharing, you should:

  1. Include function module EXIT_HMXCRUT0_001 of SAP enhancement HRPC3201 in your project and change it according to your needs.
  2. If you use a cumulation wage type other than the one proposed by the standard SAP R/3 system, you should set your wage types to cumulate in the cumulation wage type that you have included in your modified function module.

Warning

You should only perform this activity if you fulfil the folloeing conditions:

  • The SAP standard processes do not meet your requirements.
  • You have a good knowledge of ABAP/4 programming.
  • This function module should be used only for the purposes mentioned above. If you use it differently, it is not guaranteed to produce correct results in the system.

For additional information, see the documentation for function module EXIT_HMXCRUT0_001.

For additional information on how to use this transaction, see the application Help.
