The standard SAP R/3 system uses the following formula to calculate the variable part of the integrated daily wage for a particular month:

Variable part IDW = Total variable payments in previous month / Calendar
,,,,,,,,,,days in previous month - Incapacity days in previous
,,,,,,,,,,month - Absence days in previous month

For the number of calendar days in the previous month, the standard system uses the value 30 for monthly and fortnightly employees, and the number of paid wage days for weekly and two-weekly employees.

If you want to use different value for the number of calender days in a month for the above formula:

  1. Enter the value that corresponds to the number of days you want to use in the Value field of constant SDVAR.
  2. Save your entries.
