In this section of the implementation guide you must assign basis for valuation to your own wage types which are to be paid due to a work relationship termination.

Before performing this activity you must create your own wage types for payments to be made due to a work relationship termination. To do so, follow the instructions detailed on the implementation guide, section Payroll Mexico -> Extra payments -> Work relationship termination -> Create wage types for payments due to work relationship terminations.

The standard system provides the following basis for valuation:

Daily wage (wage type /010)
Fixed integrated daily wage (wage type /011)
Integrated daily wage without limit (wage type /012)
IMSS integrated daily wage (wage type /013)
Compensations model basis (wage type /014)
Seniority premium daily wage (wage type /015)

If you wish to create your own basis for valuation, follow the instructions on the implementation guide, in section Payroll Mexico -> Extra payments -> Work relationship termination -> Basis -> Define own basis for valuation.

To perform this activity:

  1. Choose your own wage type.
  2. Assign a basis for valuation to it.
  3. Save your entries.

The basis for valuation may also be assigned by means of the average standard functionality. To do so, see the implementation guide, section Payroll Mexico -> Time wage type valuation -> Averages -> Assign average valuation to a primary wage type.

In the standard system a basis for valuation has been assigned in this way to the proportional payment of the annual bonus (annual bonus settlement wage type (average) (M492).
