PAY_NL_AOW_001 - Check Retirement Age (AOW)

As of January 1, 2013 the retirement age for the statutory old-age pension is stepwise increased to 67 years. To do so, it is necessary to calculate it in years and months, according to the birthday of the employee.

In this Customizing activity you can check the retirement age for your employees.

The retirement age is defined using the SIMXA constant. This constant is applied in all SAP HCM functions related to Wage tax, Social Insurance, Life course and Illness reporting where the statutory old-age pension (AOW) is used.

The standard systems provides the values stated by law.

We recommend not to change these values.
