PAY_QA_OH006 - Settings for Salary Payment during Medical Treatment

By the following Customizing settings, you determine how to pay the salary to employees who are injured in an occupational hazard, and still under medical treatment.

1. Create Rule Group for Absence Refinement

We provide the standard rule group 650OH particularly for occupational hazard.

Then you assign the relevant absence type to rule groups. For the OH rule group, you assign the absence type that is registered as OH-specific in the previous activity Register OH-Specific Absence Types. In the standard solution, it is absence type 0600.

1. Define Absence Distribution

In the standard solution, the OH absences are valuated as follows:

• Absence < 180 days, use valuation rule 01, which is 100% paid leave.

• Absence > 180 days, use valuation rule 02, which is 50% paid leave.

You can changes these settings to suit for requirements in your company.
