PAY_QA_VISA_001 - Maintain Number Range Intervals for Visa Quota Requests

In this Customizing activity, you define the number ranges for the block visa requests.

When you create a request for block visa using the Visa Management (HQAVIMA0) report, the system automatically assigns a request ID, which increases sequentially within the number range interval.

SAP recommends that you opt for internal number assignment.

Because you can use matchcodes to search for HR master records, according to any selection criteria you wish, you do not need to use "mnemonic" personnel numbers. This has the added advantage that you cannot lose track of the "mnemonic" character of a personnel number if transfers or transports take place.

Note:

If you would like to define your own number range interval, you mustdefine it with number range number 01.

Define the number intervals for your number ranges.

Note:

The number range intervals are not linked to the automatic recording of customizing changes. You must transport all the changes that are made during the maintenance of number range intervals manually.

To do this, choose Interval -> Transport on the initial number range interval maintenance screen.
