This activity is optional, only in use when you decide to activate the rounding recovery function.

In this Customizing activity, you specify the details that determine the rounding of, for example, an employees' net payment and how often the rounded-off amount is compensated.

During each regular payroll run, the system performs the rounding on the calculated amount of net payment. In this activity, you specify the technical wage type that holds the net payment, and determine the nearest suitable rounding number (for example, 1 or 10), and the rounding method (for example, round up, round down or round off to the nearest).

In addition, you determine the frequency of rounding recovery periods. The system accumulates the rounded-off amount in the CRT table from each payroll period, and generates the adjustment wage type by end of a rounding recovery period for compensation.

You know the technical wage type that carries the net payment amount during the payroll run. In the standard entry, the technical wage type /560 is entered.

The rounding recovery function is deactivated in the standard payroll schema. To use this function, you must uncomment schema SARR from the main private sector schema, SA00, or, for the public sector, from schema SAU0.
