SAP E-Book

In this IMG activity, you determine how the system must process the Third Child Maternity Leave (3CML) wage types during a payroll run.

The wage types for 3CML range from /CL1 to /CL9, and /CLA.

Refer to the wage type documentation in this IMG activity for more information.

The following processing class and evaluation class control the processing of 3CML wage types:

  • Processing Class 88 - specifies the manner in which the system cumulates the 3CML wage types. You can specify one of the following values:
  • 0 - will not cumulate the wage types

  • 1 - cumulate as Ordinary wage type (OW)

  • 2 - cumulate as Additional wage type (AW)

  • 3 - Cumulate as either OW or AW. In this case, there is no CPF contribution.

  • Evaluation Class 16 - specifies the allowances cumulated into the 3CML wage types for Form ML2. You can specify one of the following for the evaluation class:
  • 01 - Basic Salary

  • 02 - Allowance

  • 03 - Employee CPF in the benefit period

  • 04 - Employer CPF in the benefit period

  • 05 - Other Allowances

  • 06 - Bonus

  • 07 - Others

  • 08 - Voluntary CPF contribution

  • 09 - Employee CPFcontribution in the month before the benefit period

  • 10 - Employer CPF portion in the month before the benefit period

To change the wage type settings for 3CML in the SAP standard delivery system:

  1. Select the required wage type
  2. Choose Goto -> Details
  3. Enter the validity period
  4. Define the specifications for Processing Class 88
  5. Define the specification for Evaluation Class 16. If a wage type is not relevant to NRS refunds, leave this field blank.
  6. Save your entries
