PAY_SG_ONSE_004 - Create Online Selections

In this Customizing activity, you create an employee online selection that is available in Employee Self-Service (ESS). You use the employee online selection to survey your employees so that their opinions and ideas are collected.

The created online selections are available as a subtype of the Online Selection (3228) infotype. If you create the subtype for an employee, the system displays the online selection in the ESS of that employee.

You have defined the online selection content as HR attributes in Customizing for Payroll: Singapore under Personnel Administration -> Online Selection -> Define HR Attributes for Sub-Applications.

To define a survey, proceed as follows:

1. In the Determine Work Area pop-up screen, select the the Online Selection (3228) infotype
2. Create a subtype by specifying the subtype name and description
3. Specify the start and end dates
4. Assign a defined attribute class
5. Indicate if object identification is permitted for the subtype
