PAY_SG_OT_001 - Define Employee Groupings for Overtime Compensation

In this Customizing activity, you group employees in employee groupings for overtime (OT) evaluation and compensation calculation.,,

1. You define the employee groupings, and give each grouping a numeric code.

Different employee groupings vary in different conditions for eligibility checking.

1. You assign these numeric codes to employees grouped by the organizational attributes or work schedules they share in common.

In the follow-up activity, for each employee grouping, you define the eligibility for receiving the OT compensation. During the payroll calculation, according to the OT grouping an employee belongs to, the payroll function ROTEG evaluates the employee's eligibility and calculates the overtime compensation.
