PAY_SG_OT_002 - Define Wage Type Groupings for Overtime Evaluation

In this Customizing activity, you group the wage types for different uses during the calculation of overtime (OT) compensation:

• For OT eligibility evaluation - wage type grouping of monthly salary

An employee is eligible for receiving the OT compensation when the employee's monthly salary is less than an upper limit regulated by the government. During the payroll calculation, the system cumulates the amount of wage types in this grouping as an employee's monthly salary; and checks the sum against the upper limit of the employee's EE grouping for overtime compensation.

• For OT compensation calculation - wage type grouping of overtime compensation

For the employees who are eligible for OT compensation, the system calculates the compensation amount using only the wage types in this grouping.

1. You define the wage type groupings for different uses
2. You specify the wage types in each grouping
